Hulu announces new 'Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' show, 'Project Runway' and more

A "Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" show based in California, a new reality show from Khloe Kardashian and a new season of "Project Runway" were among the new projects announced Wednesday at Hulu's second Get Real House Live event

The event, hosted by talk show host and actor Scott Evans, delivered a series of announcements about its upcoming unscripted slate. 

See below for a look at all the upcoming new shows, films and events coming to Hulu. 

'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County'

The show that originated in Utah will air a new installment this year featuring a group of young moms in Orange County, California.

The moms, "collide in a community where beliefs are not just their religion; they are their identity. While some defend their way of life, fighting against modernity, others embrace change, becoming a platform to disrupt the status quo," according to a show description.

The series, which does not yet have a release date, stars Aspyn Ovard, Bobbi Althoff, Avery Woods, Salomé Andrea, McCall DaPron, Chandler Higginson, Ashleigh Pease and Madison Bontempo.

'Project Runway'

Model Heidi Klum will return for a new season of "Project Runway" in July. 

Twenty-two designers will compete for a chance to take their fashion careers to the next level, according to a press release from Disney Entertainment Television Publicity. 

The upcoming new season will feature a crossover with some cast members of the "Dancing with the Stars" cast members, who will hit the "Runway" catwalk. They will include Brandon Armstrong, Alan Bersten, Val Chmerkovskiy, Jenna Johnson, Emma Slater, Ezra Sosa, Britt Stewart and Julianne Hough. 

Other stars that will appear include "Bachelorette" star Charity Lawson, "Love Thy Nader" stars Sarah Jane Nader, "Vanderpump Villa" star Ekin-Su and "Project Runway" season 21 winner Veejay Floresca. 

"Project Runway" will premiere on Hulu, Disney+ and Freeform on July 9. 

'Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear'

A new documentary film about Travis Barker will arrive this summer. 

According to a synopsis for the film, it will follow the Blink-182 drummer's raw and redemptive journey after a devastating plane crash that nearly took his life. 

"This is the story of the man behind the tattoos," a press release says. "A tribute to those who keep going when the music almost stops." 

'The Girls' from executive producer Khloé Kardashian

Many may know Khloé Kardashian on "The Kardashians," but the reality star and entrepreneur is stepping behind the camera for the new reality series "The Girls."

As an executive producer, Kardashian is bringing a new show to Hulu about her "inner circle of real-life besties" as they raise children and run businesses and survive "brutally honest group chats." 

The series will star Natalie Halcro, Khadijah Haqq, Malika Haqq, Yris Palmer, Olivia Pearson and Nicole Williams English. 

'Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show'

For the first time, the "Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show" special will be coming to Hulu. 

The special will feature a lineup of A-listers, supermodels, athletes, pop culture stars and more for a runway show championing inclusivity and body positivity. 

Stars who will be featured include Brooks Nader, Nicole Williams English, Camille Kostek, Jasmine Sanders and more.

'The Mob' hosted by Parker Posey

A new reality competition series "The Mob" will also be coming to Hulu with Emmy-nominated actress Parker Posey as host. 

The new reality competition series will send a group of celebs to an Italian villa where they will "shake down, hustle and whack their way to win up to $250,000 in cash prizes," a press release says. 

"Every episode, they will tackle mob movie-inspired jobs to survive," the press release adds. "But every mob family needs a don, and whoever they choose will have absolute power — deciding who makes money, who stays, and who ultimately gets whacked."

Joining the villa for its debut season are several from the Hulu-verse and more including Willam Belli, Demi Engemann, Maria Georgas, Joe Gorga, Chelsea Lazkani, Debi Mazar, Shane Parton, Bella Palk, Bruno Tonioli, rapper Romeo and Aida Turturro. 

'Dancing with the Stars'

"Dancing with the Stars" is returning for Season 35, premiering this fall on ABC and Disney+ and streaming the next day on Hulu.

Starting this summer, Hulu will also stream a new spinoff series called "Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro." 

The new show will be hosted by Robert Irwin and will aim to find the next pro dancer on the hit reality dance competition series. 

The series will premiere July 13, 2026, at 8 p.m. EDT/PDT on ABC, with episodes available the next day on Hulu.

'House of Stassi'

"Vanderpump Villa" and former "Vanderpump Rules" star Stassi Schroeder will be the star of a new unscripted series airing in July.

Schroeder will be joined on the show by friends including Katie Maloney, Beau Clark, Kristina Kelly, Taylor Strecker, Georgianna Aubin, Rob Evors and Taylor “Teddy” Donohue. 

"House of Stassi" premieres with two episodes on July 29 on Freeform, and the full season streams on Hulu, Hulu on Disney+ and Disney+ on July 30.
