Kate Middleton is stepping back into the public eye.

On Saturday, the Princess of Wales attended the England vs. Ireland Six Nations match at Allianz Stadium in Twickenham, London.

Kate appeared in her role as patron of the Rugby Football Union, the national governing body for grassroots and elite rugby in England. The Six Nations Championship match drew a packed crowd, with the royal seated in the stands ahead of kickoff.

For the outing, the Princess of Wales coordinated an England rugby scarf with a tailored blue trench coat layered over a high-neck black top.

Before the match began, Kate was seen speaking with injured England player Fin Baxter and RFU President Deborah Griffin.

Kate, who turned 44 on Jan. 9, recently reflected on her birthday in an Instagram video.

"I find myself reflecting on how deeply grateful I am," Kate, wearing a green coat and matching cap, says in the video, the fourth and final installment of the "Mother Nature" video series she launched in 2025 to reflect on the power of nature.

"For the rivers within us flow with ease. Fears washed away, cleanse and purify. Come to peace with our tears, and discover what it means to be alive," Kate continues in the video, titled "Winter." "To be at one with nature. A quiet teacher and a soft voice that guides. In memory, helping us to heal."
