Photographers captured Kate on Friday in a striking dark green tartan plaid skirt paired with a matching green handbag as she stepped out of The Commons, a community center in South Belfast.

She and William also stopped to greet members of the the public who waited to get a glimpse of them and shake hands.

The Waleses support various causes and organizations, including those working to prevent and alleviate homelessness. Last December, William brought his and Kate's eldest son, Prince George, to volunteer and help make Christmas lunch at The Passage, a London-based charity that helps people experiencing homelessness.
