Taylor Swift reads aloud a love letter from Travis Kelce in new docuseries: What it says

WATCH: Final two episodes of Taylor Swifts' docuseries drop

Taylor Swift is sharing more glimpses of her love story with Travis Kelce, including a love letter he wrote to her ahead of her final Eras Tour shows.

In the final episode of Swift's "The End of an Era" docuseries, the singer reads aloud a letter from her now-fiance, a star tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, while backstage before her final Eras Tour shows last December.

"So many unbelievable memories in this tour, but my favorite was seeing you in concert for the first time, being mesmerized and swept off my feet by a woman who doesn't even know me," Swift reads. "I selfishly say thank you for creating this legendary tour and to [tour manager] Robert [Allen] for making you stop through Kansas City, Missouri."

"That night too in KC was the beginning of me meeting the love of my life," Swift continues reading from the letter.

Swift and Kelce started dating in 2023 after Kelce attended her Eras Tour show in Kansas City in July that year, and Kelce subsequently spoke about it on his "New Heights" podcast.

In an earlier episode of the docuseries, Swift's mom Andrea Swift revealed that she had seen internet headlines that year about Kelce's previous podcast comments saying he was disappointed he couldn't give Taylor Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it at the Kansas City concert.

From there, Andrea Swift said she spoke with her cousin, whom she described as a Chiefs fan, to get the inside scoop about Kelce, before encouraging her daughter to meet him.

Kelce and Taylor Swift announced their engagement in August 2024.

Kelce makes multiple appearances throughout the "End of an Era" docuseries, which documents Taylor Swift's record-breaking Eras Tour that took her around the world from March 2023 through December 2024.

In the docuseries, Taylor Swift speaks about how similar her career is to Kelce's, saying they "both have jobs where we go out in NFL stadiums, and we entertain people for three and a half hours."

Describing their careers as their "passion, she adds, "We've been chasing this since we were little kids. So, I don't think I ever thought I'd meet a guy who had that same trajectory. Travis is just very comfortable with, conceptually speaking, a big life. Because he has one, and it's not one that he has reluctantly. He's very comfortable with it."

All six episodes of "The End of an Era" are available to stream now on Disney+.
