Taylor Swift's new 'Opalite' music video is packed with celebrity cameos

Taylor Swift's new music video for "Opalite" is here.

The music video, released Friday morning on both Apple Music and Spotify, features a bevy of celebrity cameos, including actors Cillian Murphy, Domhnall Gleeson, Greta Lee, and Jodie Turner-Smith, as well as singer Lewis Capaldi.

Swift revealed the music video's backstory in an Instagram post, sharing that the idea for it came to her while she was a guest on "The Graham Norton Show" in October 2025.

"The idea for the Opalite music video crash landed into my imagination when I was doing promo for The Life of a Showgirl. I was a guest on one of my favorite shows, @TheGrahamNortonShowOfficial," Swift wrote.

When Swift appeared on "The Graham Norton Show" last fall, she was a guest on Norton's red couch alongside none other than Murphy, Gleeson, Lee, Turner-Smith and Capaldi, a group she said she was "ridiculously lucky" to join.

"When we were all talking during the broadcast, Domhnall made a light hearted joke about wanting to be in one of my music videos. He's Irish! He was joking! Except that in that moment during the interview, I was instantly struck with an *idea*," Swift continued, adding that she thought in that moment it would be "wild" if everyone on the show with her that day could take part in the music video.

"To my delight, everyone from the show made the effort to time travel back to the 90's with us and help with this video," Swift wrote. "You might even recognize some friendly faces from The Eras Tour."

The music video for "Opalite" is the second music video Swift has released from "The Life of a Showgirl," her 12th studio album, after "The Fate of Ophelia."
