New McDonald's Halloween Boo Buckets available now

WATCH: McDonald's cutting costs of combo meals

The beloved, reusable, trick-or-treat Boo Buckets have officially returned to McDonald's.

Starting Tuesday, customers who purchase a Happy Meal can get one of five Boo Bucket designs.

The buckets come in three previous iterations -- a white ghost, an orange jack-o'-lantern and a green goblin -- plus two new "ghoulie friends" with the addition of a black cat and a red zombie, according to McDonalds.

The iconic plastic pails, which make for perfect trick-or-treating vessels, return to participating McDonald's restaurants nationwide on Oct. 21 while supplies last.

"Halloween buckets are popping up everywhere like ghosts in the night -- and hey, imitation is the most BOO-tiful form of flattery," McDonalds said in an Oct. 1 press release. "But let's be real: there's only one OG Halloween bucket, and it comes with a Happy Meal."

According to the fast food giant, each Boo Bucket "has its own creepy, kooky and cute expressions, so you can collect them all," and "fans can even dress up their pails with Halloween themed stickers."

Chipotle Halloween offer for free treats in October

Chipotle announced a new Chip-or-Treat offer for Chipotle Rewards members to earn free treats throughout October to celebrate Halloween.

Now through Oct. 30, Chipotle Rewards members who purchase an entrée -- on the app, online or in-restaurant and scan their member card -- each week will receive a weekly offer, plus an exclusive Rewards badge.

"Within a few hours after a purchase, Chipotle Rewards members will receive a 'Chip-or-Treat' email providing a treat tailored to their preferences, valid for five days," the fast casual restaurant chain announced.

The offer is available once a week and members can earn up to four treats and four exclusive Rewards badges throughout the month.

Plus, for the 25th year, Chipotle will keep its Boorito tradition alive with a Halloween offer set to be detailed later this month.

Wendy's Halloween deal, new kids' meal toys

Wendy's kicked off Halloween early, debuting 12 limited-edition Frosty Frights Kids' Meal toys, all inspired by the iconic frozen treat.

Characters include Yummy, Chilly Gilly, Ice Patch, Captain Coldsnap, Meltin, and Purrrma Frost that customers can collect throughout the Halloween season.

The fast food chain is also offering new Boo Books, a coupon book for $1 that includes five free Jr. Frosty coupons.

This year's book includes a bonus $1.99 Kids' Meal coupon.

Boo Books can be purchased in-store, via the app or kiosks and go towards supporting the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.
