Starbucks Red Cup Day returns, plus new holiday menu items

The holiday menu will officially be back at Starbucks on Nov. 6 with the return of seasonal favorites like the Iced Gingerbread Chai, Peppermint Mocha, and of course, red cups.

Starbucks announces holiday menu

The Seattle-based coffee giant announced that its holiday menu is just around the corner and will feature the return of festive beverages like the Caramel Brulée Latte, Iced Sugar Cookie Latte and the aforementioned Iced Gingerbread Chai, starting Nov. 6.

Later this season, at a to-be-announced date, the Chestnut Praline Latte and fan-favorite Eggnog Latte will also return at Starbucks.

In addition to the holiday beverages, the bakery case is nearly holiday-ready as well, with returning customer-favorites like the Cranberry Bliss Bar, Snowman Cookie and Sugar Plum Cheese Danish.

Newcomers to the case this season include a Polar Bear Cake Pop, as well as Cinnamon Pull-apart Bread.

Red Cup Day, new reusable holiday cup will return at Starbucks

Starbucks confirmed to ABC News that Red Cup Day will return Thursday, Nov. 13.

The annual holiday tradition gives customers who purchase any handcrafted holiday beverage a reusable red holiday cup.

As part of the company's "Back to Starbucks" initiative focused on elevating customer experience, Starbucks said it will add more baristas in stores on Red Cup Day to greet customers and make drinks.

Hello Kitty holiday merch at Starbucks

A new limited-edition collaboration with Hello Kitty will also hit stores just in time for the holidays.

The collection includes a plush Hello Kitty in a Starbucks apron, a large cold beverage tumbler with a straw, a hot beverage tumbler and a coffee mug.
